1. Who We Are

E-Pharma is a free, public web service that provides NHIS-approved drug price information for Ghana. This Privacy Policy explains what information (if any) we collect when you visit the site and how we handle it.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

E-Pharma does not require registration or login. We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• Health or medical information
• Payment or financial details
• Device identifiers used for tracking across sites

3. Automatically Collected Information

Like most web servers, our hosting provider may log basic technical information for security and operational purposes, including:

• Your IP address (anonymised where possible)
• Browser type and version
• The page you visited and when
• Referring URL

This information is used solely to keep the service running reliably and to diagnose technical problems. It is never used to identify you personally and is not shared with third parties for marketing.

4. Search Queries

When you search for a drug, the search term is sent to our server to retrieve matching results from our database. We do not store or log individual search queries linked to any user identity.

5. Cookies

E-Pharma does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any similar third-party tracking service.

The only external request made by this page is to Google Fonts to load the Inter typeface. Google's own privacy policy applies to that request. If you prefer to avoid this, you can disable web fonts in your browser settings — the site will fall back to system fonts and function normally.

6. Third-Party Services

E-Pharma is hosted on Render and uses MongoDB Atlas for the drug database. Both services have their own privacy and data handling policies:

Neither service is given access to any personal data from our users, because we do not collect any.

7. Data Retention

Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to retain or delete. Server logs held by our hosting provider are typically rotated automatically within a short period.

8. Children's Privacy

E-Pharma is an informational tool accessible to everyone, including minors. We do not knowingly collect any information from children or any other users. There is nothing to collect — the site is read-only.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how we handle information, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
