Making drug prices transparent for every Ghanaian.
E-Pharma exists so that every patient in Ghana can walk into a pharmacy knowing exactly what their medication should cost — and never be overcharged again.
Access to affordable medicines is a right, not a privilege. Yet many Ghanaians overpay for drugs simply because price information is hard to find. E-Pharma bridges that gap by publishing the official National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) approved prices for hundreds of drugs in a fast, easy-to-search format — completely free.
Whether you're a patient picking up a prescription, a caregiver managing a family member's treatment, or a health worker verifying costs, E-Pharma gives you the information you need in seconds.
Search by generic or brand name. Results appear as you type.
Form, strength, unit, and the official NHIS price — all in one card.
Data sourced directly from Ghana's National Health Insurance Authority approved price list.
Fully responsive — use it on your phone at the pharmacy counter.
The prices on E-Pharma are based on the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) approved medicine price list published by Ghana's National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA). These are the maximum prices that NHIS-accredited pharmacies and facilities are permitted to charge for listed medicines.
If you believe you have been charged more than the listed price at an NHIS-accredited facility, you have the right to report it to the NHIA.
We do our best to keep the data up to date, but drug prices can change when the NHIA publishes a new price list. Always confirm the final price with your pharmacist. E-Pharma is an informational tool and is not a substitute for professional medical or pharmaceutical advice.
